Dear Ben

Bronte and I arrived back home a few weeks before Christmas, but have only started catching up on our photos etc.

I’m sure you have so many, but we thought we’d send these on to you.

Again, it was a delightful day, and a major highlight of our trip. It is quite unique for us as well as not allowed here!

I might have to split this e-mail as the photos may be too big to send all in one.

Regards,

Suzanne and Bronte.

Dear Ben,

May we take this opportunity to thank you for an absolutely wonderful day today. It was a real pleasure to meet you and your feathered friends. We found the day extremely enjoyable, informative and particularly the practical session in the afternoon learning to fly the different birds was a fantastic experience. We would highly recommend this adventure with Ben to anybody either wanting to have an experience day or those wishing to pursue this hobby further.

Thank you once again for a very memorable occasion.

Clive and Vicky.

Ben

What a fantastic afternoon we both had on Tuesday with you sharing your knowledge and expertise.

As promised a few more photos for what I imagine is an already extensive collection.

We both thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and insight into these wonderful birds.

Thank you again,

Sue & Terry.

Hi Ben, Bob and Ruby – just a note to say thanks for such a fantastic experience yesterday.

Everything about the day was perfect. Bob’s expertise was astounding, as was his skill as an instructor – we didn’t realise how much we’d learned until we were talking about it with the family later!

But most of all, it was a privilege to get an insight into such beautiful creatures, and the care, skill and professionalism it takes to keep them so well.

So thanks again, and we’ll be recommending our experience with you to everyone!

Paul and Jackie.

Hello

I went and met Ben for myself on the 25th October 2010. I had previously heard about Ben and bought many items from him for my Harris Hawks. I arranged to meet Ben as I wanted to learn to fly longwings PROPERLY.

Take it from me, this man is the very best. He has so much patience, and explained things to me over and over again until I fully understood his interpretation of what needed to be done to fly longwings.

I was amazed not only with his birds, but also with Ben’s attitude and dedication to falconry. I cannot thank Ben enough for all his kind help and very polite attitude on the day I spent with him. I will be going back to learn from the best teacher you could possibly wish for.

Thank you Ben

I have just completed a Falconry Experience with Ben Long and his birds in Gloucestershire and would like to express my appreciation for the most perfect day.

Ben was so well organised the whole day flowed and passed far too quickly. Ben is so passionate about his chosen sport it was a privilege to spend the day with him. His knowledge was outstanding.

My wife came along on the day and was made to feel so welcome and part of my day, it has inspired her to have the experience herself in the future.

Thank you

Regards

A big thankyou to Ben.

I did the course at the end of June. Ben was kind enough to pick me up from the station on the first morning, and was my taxi service to my b&b for the 3 days. The course taught me so much, and it was  done at a nice relaxed pace, also the other 2 people, Pete and Lee were great as well. Flying all the different types of bird gave me a real insight into falconry, and the more technical side of things were dealt with at a pace that anyone could learn and take it all in.

Ben also put me in contact with a breeder, and I am now the more than proud owner of a female Harris Hawk called Genie who after just over 3 weeks of me training her is now flying free. Ben also came with me to pick up Genie, also I am in contact with Ben regularly to update him with my progress, and picking his brains if I need advice. I can’t stress enough what a big part Ben has played. Thoroughly excellent course.
